The event was attended by <strong>Oleg Goya, head of the Department of Organization of Customs Control and Registration of the State Customs Service<\/strong>, as well as representatives of member companies of the Association: <strong>LAMARIN, Indrayani Overseas, Elektrokontakt Ukraine, HAVI Ukraine, Indrayani Overseas, BIKO CO., Philip Morris Ukraine, Margo PP, Nestle Ukraine, M-AND-S, SUN GARDEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, during the event, the participants discussed problems related to the preparation of EA-type customs declarations. Mr. Goya, in turn, spoke about the created Working Group headed by Serhiy Korchak, representative of the Customs Risk Profiling Department. Currently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has started actively monitoring the entire system regarding EA registration and found many technical shortcomings. Appropriate instructions were given to address these deficiencies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, since the beginning of the war, the vast majority of importers worked under a simplified procedure (EA-type declaration), which made it possible to go from the border directly to the point of unloading, without going to customs (additional cost savings). With the introduction of &#8220;customs visa-free&#8221;, the declaration of the EA type is subject to cancellation, this will lead to certain additional costs and complications (queues for cars to enter the terminals).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, the executive head of Odesa Customs <strong>Mykhailo Miroshnichenko<\/strong> emphasized that Odesa Customs takes maximum measures to eliminate any manifestations of corruption.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thank you for the opportunity to continue the dialogue with the business!<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; On November 8, 2022, the European Business Association met with the management of Odesa Customs.
