draft law #7687<\/a> <\/strong>on amendments to the legislation on the reservation of persons liable for military service for the period of mobilization and wartime, which the European Business Association actively supported. Thus, the document is aimed at improving the reservation system, particularly, the abolition of the need to obtain a mobilization task for reserving an employee (for more than 4 months this mechanism almost did not work).<\/p>\nThus, the draft law defines the conditions under which persons liable for military service who work at companies are subject to deferral. At the same time, it is envisaged that the Government in a separate document should determine the procedure and criteria for reserving persons liable for military service. Therefore, the EBA expects the President to sign this law as soon as possible and is ready to join the work of the relevant ministries to update the bylaws on the reservation of persons liable for military service. In particular, it is now extremely important to clearly define the procedure and criteria by which it will be possible to reserve critical employees for the functioning of companies.<\/p>\n
At the same time, business had doubts that the relevant by-law would be developed and adopted by November 13, which is actually the time when Order of the Ministry of Economy No. 3071 on the deferral extension expires. However, today the Government decided to extend the current reservations for another month, for which the community is sincerely grateful!<\/p>\n
Also, business continues to expect another equally important decision, namely, the launch of the “E-BusinessTrip” project, which would enable entrepreneurs to make short-term business trips abroad. The EBA fully supports this initiative and hopes that it will also be implemented in the near future.<\/p>\n
