In particular, some of them are not equipped with evacuation exits and ramps, which practically eliminates the possibility of people with limited mobility to be protected during air attacks from the aggressor country. In addition, most shelters are not connected to water supply and drainage systems, and do not have proper places to store food products.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Taking into account the fact that our country urgently needs the deployment of a network of suitable bomb shelters and shelters, including in new buildings, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Law of Ukraine No. 2486-IX, which provides that the approval of urban planning documents for the construction of objects with a class of consequences ( compliance) &#8211; SS2, SS3, where more than 50 people will be permanently present or more than 100 people will periodically be present, is possible only if they include information about the planned engineering and technical measures of civil protection and meet the accessibility requirements for the reduced mobility population.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among other things, the draft law provides for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>simplification of the procedure for the transfer of land on which protective structures of civil protection (storage) will be placed;<\/li>\n<li>establishment of an additional basis for the refusal of the State Inspection of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine (DIAM) to issue certificates of acceptance into operation of completed construction facilities in case of their non-compliance with the requirements of engineering and technical measures of civil protection;<\/li>\n<li>determination of requirements for the maintenance of civil defense facilities (storage facilities) according to their purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The specified normative legal act is socially important and its adoption will provide an opportunity to save your life and the lives of your loved ones and relatives during dangerous factors, in particular those arising as a result of an emergency situation, combat (military) actions and terrorist acts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Author:\u00a0Violetta Fedorko, lawyer at Dynasty Law &amp; Investment The war showed Ukrainians that most bomb shelters and shelters are partially or completely unusable.
