The document covers 17 areas, such as environment, tax and customs, intellectual property and agriculture, labor, and pension reform, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The EBA Business Climate Note is available <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/EBA_Proposals.pdf\">at the link<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The key purpose of its all is the need to create a level playing field for business. And the EBA Business Climate Note serves as a guide to shaping a favorable business climate in Ukraine and improving the investment attractiveness of the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The EBA Community has already sent a document to the Heads of Government, Parliament, Presidential Administration, and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, as the need to address many of the proposed business issues enshrined, inter alia, in the EU-Ukraine Strategy Papers, including the Association Agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<div class=\"blockquote-custom-big animate-block animate-block--before animate-block--to-right\">\n\n\t\t<div class=\"quote-header\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img src=\"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Svitlana-Mykhailovska.png\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"name\">Svitlana Mykhailovska<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"position\">EBA Deputy Director for Advocacy<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"blockquote-custom\">\n\t\t\t\tAccording to the Ministry of Economy, the share of the shadow economy in the first half of 2021 remained unchanged \u2013 31% of GDP. And this is only official data. Although they say that the existing methods of stimulating the economy are not working in full. Increased fiscal pressure on white businesses prevents the economy from developing. Sure, they may solve short-term issues such as increasing budget revenues. But it is not the symptoms that need to be treated, but the causes of unequal rules of the game.\n\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Therefore, the EBA hopes that our proposals will be taken into account by the Government in implementing further reforms, which will ultimately allow Ukraine to significantly improve its business climate and become an attractive place to attract new investment.
