The transparent business that pays the necessary taxes and fees, and thus being exposed to fiscal pressure. And the shadow business that ignores legal requirements does not pay taxes, and thus being out of sight of authorities \u2013 they do not come there with inspections.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the shadow economy brings enormous losses \u2013 for both transparent companies and the state. Thus, the state budget has a shortfall of <strong>UAH 5 billion<\/strong> due to the gray consumer electronics market, <strong>UAH 16 billion<\/strong> from the illegal trade in tobacco products, about <strong>UAH 14 billion<\/strong> from the illegal market of alcohol and spirits, <strong>UAH 2 billion<\/strong> from the illegal jewelry import, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Law-abiding businesses are convinced that this cannot continue, and instead of increasing the pressure and tax burden on white businesses, it is worth trying to finally bring Ukraine&#8217;s economy out of the shadows and create equal and fair business conditions for all.<\/p>\n<p>We will talk about this issue on\u00a0<strong>December 10 at 11.00<\/strong>, at\u00a0<strong>the Business Forum: From Shadows to Transparency 2.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/en\/event\/forum-from-shadows-to-transparency-2-0-2021-11-25-14-57\/\">REGISTER HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There will be the presentation of cases that demonstrate the scale of counterfeit products in various fields and the negative consequences of illegal trade for the state and business. We will pay special attention to the steps that the state must take to combat the shadow.<\/p>\n<p>After all, now we see attempts to postpone\/repeal the rules once again on the use of cash registers or software RSO, which is not entirely consistent with the declared policy to deshadowing the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Agenda<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel I. It is also possible to provide a digital COVID-certificate with the use of the Diia mobile application.<\/p>\n<p><em>*A vaccine must be approved for emergency use by the World Health Organization.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For the security check, all participants must comply with sanitary rules, including social distancing, temperature screening, and mask-wearing.
