This was promised by the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Thus, on December 1, the European Business Association held a working meeting with the Deputy Head of the Service \u2013 Mr. Anatoliy Vovnyuk<\/strong>. The key topic was the issuance of the conclusions of the state sanitary-epidemiological examination.<\/p>\n During the meeting, business representatives noted that recently it has taken significantly more time (up to a month) for a company to obtain the conclusions has increased. This situation leads to delays in the supply of goods to the Ukrainian market. Besides, many conclusions that have been revised by representatives of the renewed sanitary-epidemiological commissions of the Kundiev Institute and the State Management of Affairs still remain unsigned. As a result, businesses fail to meet the terms of their contracts and fall behind with their own processes. Also, we discussed the problem of refusals due to the indication of a 4-digit UKTZED code instead of a 10-digit one, etc.<\/p>\n Mr. Vovniuk noted that in the coming days it is planned to approve a new procedure for obtaining Conclusions, according to which the deadline for signing them will be reduced to 10 working days. Besides, it is planned to launch a separate online platform, which will clearly record the status of a draft conclusion. Access to this platform will be open not only to representatives of the State Food and Consumer Service and relevant institutes. This will help businesses to minimize unnecessary delays and provide an opportunity to quickly monitor the status of preparation of a conclusion.<\/p>\n He also added that as for the draft Conclusions received by the Kundiev Institute and the State Management of Affairs, all of them were signed the day before and will be handed over to business in the near future.<\/p>\n At the same time, the EBA community recalled its proposal to abolish the need to obtain a Conclusion for a range of products such as household appliances and electronics because they are already subject to numerous regulatory documents on technical product safety based on EU directives, etc. Therefore, there is no need to obtain an additional Conclusion, which, according to the EBA companies, has no analog applicable for such goods in the European Union. The EBA is grateful to Mr. Anatoliy Vovnyuk and the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection for their openness to dialogue and we hope that by joint efforts the procedure of obtaining Conclusions can be made as quick and easy as possible for the business.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
