In particular, the law lays the foundation for financing state energy efficiency programs. Thus, it contains the requirement to allocate at least 1% of the budget expenditure on energy efficiency programs annually. It should be reminded that the legislation in this area has not been updated since 1994.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The President signed a law on the safety of baby food<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Also, earlier this week, the President signed a draft law \u201cOn Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Harmonization of the Legislation of Ukraine in the Field of Childhood Nutrition with EU Legislation\u201d (Law 1822-IX) which was actively drafted and developed by the experts from the European Business Association.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Such changes will modernize state regulation in the field of childhood nutrition, in particular. Thus, the document abolishes outdated and ineffective norms, as well as strengthens the requirements for baby food to those that are effective in the EU.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Business welcomes the signing of the above-mentioned laws, which will help modernize outdated Ukrainian legislation and harmonize it with EU standards.
