The weather conditions that have formed on the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk region have affected the plans for harvesting sunflower in the last decade of August and the beginning of September 2021. The delay of the harvesting campaign is already estimated to be at least two weeks.<\/p>\n

The yield of oil seeds delivered to G.R. Agro elevators ranges from 17 c \/ ha to 30 c\/ha. The company noted that they do not expect any special records for the repetition of 2019 (30 c\/ha).<\/p>\n

Today, there are no problems with the quality of the accepted sunflower. There is only a heterogeneity of the culture coming to the elevators in terms of humidity-from 8% to 21%. In addition, the oil content of sunflower is low \u2014 at the level of 42-47%.<\/p>\n

“Despite the expectations of the start of a full-fledged harvesting campaign in the first days of September, farmers began harvesting in the area of August 26-27, 2021 at a very slow pace. To date, about 5% of the sown areas in the regions of the Dnepropetrovsk region have been harvested”.<\/i><\/p>\n
