In 2020, as a result of the desk audit, tax liabilities and fines amounting to almost 4 Million UAH were unreasonably imposed on a client. The reason for imposing a fine was allegedly incorrect filling out of the income tax return.<\/p>\n
GOLAW lawyers managed to prove in court that the supervisory body abused its power and went beyond the desk audit, having conducted the analysis of the tax reporting indicators. Evyap Trading Ukraine, in its turn, has correctly declared and paid the income tax return. The appellate court upheld the decision of the court of first instance.<\/p>\n
