In the meeting, we discussed several important issues in the field of HR, related to wages, bonuses, and the expectations of employers and employees.<\/p>\n

Natalia Tkachenko<\/strong>, Ernst & Young’s Senior Consultant at People Advisory Services in Ukraine, shared EY’s research on employee benefits. In particular, we discussed the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Nowadays personnel management drivers of changes are already shaping our future. These are the struggle for talent, goal management and focus on people, globalization of the workforce, etc.<\/li>\n
  • For the last 5 years the most attractive branch for professionals and students remains the IT sphere.<\/li>\n
  • Corporate culture has become a prominent factor in the choice of work by professionals, while for students such a factor is career growth.<\/li>\n
  • The emphasis on intangible rewards and intrinsic motivation is growing.<\/li>\n
  • Covid-19 has significantly influenced the planning of remuneration to employees: 57% of employers have reduced or plan to reduce the budget for remuneration for 2021.<\/li>\n
  • According to data in 2020, 79% of local and international companies pay salaries in the national currency.<\/li>\n
  • Companies that pay salaries in foreign currency plan to increase it by a higher percentage (11%) than companies with salaries in the national currency (10%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How do employees happy with the place where they work? Serhiy Bohatskyi<\/strong>, Chief Service Officer of QFM catering, said that you can improve the comfort of the company by using facility management services, like cleaning services, catering, and outsourced technical operation. This helps companies and their employees to focus on their core business.<\/p>\n

    Also, we listened to a presentation made by Oksana Abramenko<\/strong>, Lviv Consulting Group, on the review of wages based on a blitz survey of 29 manufacturing companies in various industries. In particular, it showed information about salaries, bonuses, allowances for skilled and unskilled workers. For example, 80% of surveyed companies plan to review or have already reviewed the average base\/tariff grid, and the average rate of the rate hike is 10-12%. Oksana Abramenko also singled out global labour market trends such as hybrid work model, continuing education, new corporate culture, accelerating digitalization, shortage of personnel in technology and IT.<\/p>\n
