It is worth noting that the text of the draft law itself was submitted to the second reading without unwelcome surprises &#8211; most of the amendments which are important for business were considered, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possibility of judicial and administrative appeal against the loss of resident status of Diia.City;<\/li>\n<li>Membership in a self-regulatory organization remained in the draft law, but its obligingness was abolished;<\/li>\n<li>Introduction of an audit to verify the company&#8217;s reporting in order to preserve the status of a resident;<\/li>\n<li>Declaration of 25 years of specialty in terms of tax regime conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adoption of the draft law is without exaggeration one of the main events in the life of Ukrainian IT in recent years, because of Diia.City offers a radical change in the usual working mechanism of the industry.<\/p>\n<p>The IT Committee of the European Business Association is grateful to the main stakeholders for almost two years of working together and in constant dialogue to improve the draft law.<\/p>\n<p>At present, in order for the mechanism to work fully, first of all, it is important to concentrate all efforts on finalizing the tax part of the concept &#8211; draft law \u21165376, which, by the way, has already been adopted in the first reading and is being finalized by the Verkhovna Rada. In addition, it is equally important to finalize all the necessary bylaws to eventually make Diia.City a user-friendly system that will help take the IT industry to the next level.
