On 18 June 2021, the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, by which the Belarusian manufacturers of gas-concrete blocks \u2013 Republican Manufacturing and Trade Unitary Enterprise Management Company of Belarusian Cement Company Holding and the importer BK Komfort-Bud LTD LLC \u2013 were refused to lift the anti-dumping duty imposed on the import of goods to Ukraine.<\/p>\n
In these proceedings, Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm represented the interests of members of the Ukrainian Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Producers Association (VAAG).<\/p>\n
Thus, the Court of Appeal recognized the need to protect the national manufacturers of autoclaved gas concrete from the dumping imports of goods exported to Ukraine by Belarusian manufacturers.<\/p>\n
It is to be recalled that on 2 March 2021, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv refused to satisfy the claims of Belarusian manufacturers of gas-concrete blocks for the lifting of the anti-dumping duty imposed on the import into Ukraine of gas-concrete blocks originating in the Republic of Belarus. By its decision No.\u00a0AD-437\/2020\/4411-03 dated 21 February 2020, the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade imposed the final anti-dumping duty at the level of 34.19%.<\/p>\n
