GigaCloud became the first Ukrainian cloud operator to receive a certificate of compliance with the PCI DSS information security standard. The GigaCenter data center, which together with GigaCloud is part of the GIGAGROUP group of companies, has also been certified according to this standard.<\/span><\/p>\n Money on a bank card is the most desirable target for cyberattacks all around the world. To ensure the protection of confidential customer data, companies must comply with the PCI DSS standard developed by leading international payment systems. It sets strict and precise requirements for the security of IT infrastructure components and the integrity of the payment system.<\/span><\/p>\n “There are tens of thousands of organizations in Ukraine that directly interact with customer payment card data,”<\/em> says <\/span>Anton Khvastunov<\/b>, <\/span>co-owner of GigaCloud and business development director of GIGAGROUP.<\/span> – \u201cIndependent certification under the PCI DSS standard can take them several years.
