It concerns the obligation of both Ukrzaliznytsia and the private companies as the owners of freight cars to comply with terms of planned car repairs.<\/p>\n<p>Given the importance of railway safety, the EBA Logistics Committee experts consider it necessary after the reform of Ukrzaliznytsia to transfer the functions of the car repair control to the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety who can address this issue comprehensively.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, Ukrzaliznytsia needs to provide overhaul and reconstruction of up to 1000 km of railways per for the next five years.
