As of February 19, licenses for the import\/export of goods containing fluorinated greenhouse gases and still not issued.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus, the relevant normative document was adopted on January 29, 2021 (<\/span>Order \u211655 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the EBA member companies stated that more than 2,000 applications have been submitted for such licenses. Experts from the Ministry of Environment claim that they have approved more than a hundred applications for such licenses, the next step in this procedure should have been taken by the Mineconomy. To date, no business representative has received a license as reported by our member companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, unfortunately, the responsible specialists of the Mineconomy do not answer phone calls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, the European Business Association appeals to the Mineconomy to start issuing licenses for companies that have already received approval from the Ministry of Environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

It will be recalled that at the end of last year the Government adopted Resolution \u21161329 on the list of goods, export, and import of which are subject to licensing in 2021 that provided that fluorinated greenhouse gases are controlled substances. Therefore, from January 1, 2021, it is necessary to obtain a license from the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade, and Agriculture (Mineconomy) for the import\/export of these gases or goods containing them. According to Resolution \u21161329, the Mineconomy must issue such licenses upon the application of the business entity and its obtainment of approval for the issuance of such a license from the Ministry of Environment.<\/span><\/p>\n
