Asters successfully defended a leading CIS producer and its Ukrainian importer in a 18 months anti-dumping investigation on imports of aluminum wheels originating from the Russian Federation and the PRC into Ukraine.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the investigation the Ministry of Economy calculated an individual duty for the Asters\u2019 client and recommended to terminate the investigation without introducing AD measures as contradicting the national interests. The recommendation was supported by the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade, the decision<\/a> announced on 16 January 2021.<\/p>\n

Asters’ International Trade team working on the project consisted of associates Yelyzaveta Herasymchuk<\/strong>, Tetiana Bebik<\/strong> and Ivan Yaremchuk<\/strong> led by partner Alexey Pustovit<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Asters has one of the most dynamic and established practices in international trade in the country. Asters International Trade team acted on defense side in 16 out of 18 trade investigations initiated by Ukraine in 2019-2020.
