The Ukraine.ua portal was officially launched on 14 January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukraine.ua domain name was owned by an individual for more than 8 years and has not been used. Ilyashev &amp; Partners provided full legal support during the domain name re-delegation from an individual to the central executive body. The services of the law firm included, <em>inter alia<\/em>, the mediation with the domain name owner, preparation of and legal support during the signing of an agreement on the domain name re-delegation and transfer of exclusive property rights to a trademark, which became the basis for the initial registration of a second-level domain in the.UA public domain, as well as preparation of a package documents required to introduce relevant amendments in the State Register of Certificates of Ukraine of Marks for Goods and Services.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are pleased to be part of this unique project,<\/em> <em>\u2013 <\/em>said <strong>Mikhail Ilyashev<\/strong>, the Managing Partner of Ilyashev &amp; Partners Law Firm. <em>\u2013 <\/em><em>We managed to negotiate a consensus with the previous owner, which made it possible for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to acquire the ownership of a \u2018strategic\u2019 domain name in the shortest time possible and launch the portal on time. Each developed country has its own official international Internet representation, and Ukraine is no exception now\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The website was created with the aid of the British Embassy in Ukraine.
