Business welcomes this decision and thanks to the President, the Parliament, and the Mineconomy for responding to the appeal of the business community.<\/p>\n
This law will temporarily unblock the situation on the feed market. Thus, within the next four years, it is allowed to import and sell feed additives without their state registration in Ukraine if they are allowed in the EU and intended for the production of feed for unproductive animals.<\/p>\n
The permit also applies to prepacked feeds which are made from feed additives registered in the European Union, if such feeds originate from facilities located either in Ukraine or in EU member states or have a permit to import into the EU.<\/p>\n
Also, within four years from the date of entry into force, the law allows the production, import or shipment to the customs territory of Ukraine, circulation, and use of finished feeds, premixes and feed additives registered in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Veterinary Medicine”, subject to valid registration certificates for appropriately prepared feeds, premixes, or feed additives.<\/p>\n
The law enters into force on the day following the day of its publication.<\/p>\n
This decision is of great importance to support the smooth operation of the business, however, as the law is temporary, the European Business Association will accordingly put efforts to prepare and adopt all regulations necessary for the proper implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Food Safety and Hygiene”, Creation of the State Register of Feed Additives and the system of state registration of feed additives.<\/p>\n
