GOLAW Law Firm has successfully defended the global retail company against groundless charges of large-scale tax evasion totalling 4.5 million Hryvna.<\/p>\n

Investigators of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine charged the retailer\u2019s companies with convertingfunds by concluding non-commodity transactions with fictitious enterprises, which they charged were subsequently used to pay for wages off the books and for legalizing illicit income.<\/p>\n

Duringthe investigation, law enforcement agencies carried out numerous questionings of employees, searches of stores and company offices. Documents and equipment of the companies were seized.<\/p>\n

Due to the professional and efficient work of the GOLAW attorneys and it award-winning criminal defense practice, it was able to prove that none of the alleged crimes had taken place.
