During our webinar we will observe 3 case studies to understand what kind of challenges businesses may face due to the new tax rules and how to be prepared for these challenges. The companies working with non-residents will be in the focus of discussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cases to be discussed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Case 1:<\/strong> Explanation of the changes in a &#8220;beneficial owner of income&#8221; concept and how it should be applied now, taxation of the payments for the software use and what is the idea of a &#8216;look-through approach&#8217; concept;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Case 2:<\/strong> Discussion of the changes in the &#8220;permanent establishment&#8221; status, amount of fines that can be imposed to non-residents for failure to register a permanent establishment, and how tax authorities can find out such activity of a non-resident in Ukraine;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Case 3:<\/strong> Explanation of the main changes in the grounds for conducting tax audits, what are the features of a mutual agreement procedure and what is the compulsory registration of a non-resident.<\/p>\n<p>The events is organised jointly with the <a href=\"https:\/\/chamber.ua\/\">American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can register at <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3kFWJne\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/3kFWJne<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We will send you a confirmation email and further instructions after you have registered.<\/p>\n<p>Speaker:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iryna Kalnytska<\/strong>, Partner at GOLAW, Attorney at law.
