The audience’s questions concerned the exemption of state-owned tenants from rent and quarantine discounts, the procedure for exercising investors’ rights in lease agreements, prolongation of existing real estate lease agreements, taking into account the new Procedure, port leases and new concession plans etc.<\/p>\nThe moderator of the meeting, Kateryna Morozova<\/strong>, Head of the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office, noted that the State Property Fund has radically changed its approach and made its services more customer-oriented, and privatization has opened new business opportunities. In turn, the Association supports the Fund’s initiative to amend the laws of Ukraine in order to properly regulate the lease, and business insists on the need for the Government to approve the relevant bylaws to ensure the proper functioning of the mechanism provided by current legislation.
