On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, Kateryna Morozova<\/strong>, Head of the E\u0412A Southern Ukrainian Office, met with Mr. Kyle King<\/strong>, Head of the Odesa Office of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.<\/p>\n The key issues of discussion were: the challenges faced by companies during the quarantine period, the current situation in the Odesa region, in particular in the sphere of the public-private partnership, the peculiarities of the business climate, as well as trends of doing business in the region. Thus, Ms. Kateryna shared the results of the latest EBA investment attractiveness index, outlined the current situation in the region, more specifically in the banking, agro, and logistics spheres, as well as spoked about updating Ukrainian concession legislation and the successful case of the member company Risoil in this direction.<\/p>\n \u201cOf course, Quarantine affected the investment climate of the Odesa region and Ukraine in the whole. But with the EBA assistance business overcame this obstacle in a lighter way. Since the beginning of March, we have been actively automating all processes within companies and focusing on improving PR visibility. In addition, the role of socially responsible business (CSR) increased during this period. In general, now the region is returning to normal life, and companies are resuming their activities.
