A new marketing year in the grain industry has begun. The European Business Association is pleased to announce that on July 1, the grain market players and the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the 2020\/2021 marketing year.<\/p>\n
For the past ten years, the Memorandum has been one of the key factors to maintaining the balance between domestic grain consumption and export opportunities. This document ensures transparency and flexibility of grain export issues that are important factors for successful export activities. After all, stability and predictability are a priority for Ukraine and one of the main factors of national and food security.<\/p>\n
This document contains mechanisms for the interaction of grain market participants, exchange of information on grain export prospects, monitoring of grain market functioning.<\/p>\n
Production, processing, and export of grain and oilseeds provide significant cash inflows to the budget and are important sectors of employment. In addition, they play an important role in ensuring the food and financial stability of the country.<\/p>\n
