CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang in Kyiv is pleased to announce that it has assisted TIS Group in the successful closing of a joint venture transaction whereby DP World, one of the worlds\u2019 largest port operators, entered Ukraine directly for the first time. \u00a0The deal was signed in February 2020 and closed after four months following the satisfaction of specific conditions, including regulatory approvals.\u00a0 DP World acquired control in TIS Container Terminal Ukraine, the deepest and most technologically advanced container terminal in Ukraine\u2019s Black Sea port of Yuzhnyi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The CMS team was led by Corporate\/M&A Partners Tetyana Dovgan and Graham Conlon, Managing Partner of the Kyiv office, and supported by Vitalii Mainarovych, Diana Pysarenko, Mariana Saienko, Louise \u00c7akar, Ihor Pavliukov, Denys Hatseniuk, Olga Belyakova, Nataliya Nakonechna, Mykola Heletiy, Oleksandr Sytnyk, Olga Shenk, Vladyslav Kurylko, Natalia Kushniruk, Viktor Komziuk and Maksym Morozov (all in Kyiv) and Christian Delgado, Elisabeth Anne von Meijenfeldt and Martijn van der Bie (Amsterdam).<\/p>\n

Tetyana Dovgan<\/strong> commented: \u201cWe are pleased to have assisted our long-standing client in bringing this deal to a successful close. This transaction will expand DP World’s global operations and strengthen the position of TIS Container Terminal Ukraine as one of the key market leading terminals in Ukraine by leveraging DP World’s global network of solutions.\u00a0 This is the largest infrastructure M&A deal in Ukraine to-date in 2020.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
