The Cabinet of Ministers supported the draft law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Electronic Employment Records, which implies the elimination of paper workbooks. The pension for citizens will be accrued automatically by age – through a personal electronic account.<\/span><\/p>\n An employee may request to keep the use of a paper workbook. At such a request, the employer may continue to enter data on the employee\u2019s work experience both in the paper book and in electronic employment records. If the employee wishes to have just electronic employment records, the original paper workbook will be further deposited.<\/span><\/p>\n For the business, such a decision would help to save money on the administration of the recruitment, transfer, and dismissal of employees, while for employees it means more convenience and less bureaucracy in employment procedures.
