Accordingly, Ukraine will receive access to modern crop protection systems with a delay of 3-5 years. Some CPPs will be not available for Ukraine at all, as they are not registered in the country of production due to the impossibility or inexpediency of the process.<\/span><\/p>\n Therefore, Ukraine is losing its competitive position in the domestic agricultural sector compared to other leading countries in agriculture. The Ukrainian farmer must use what is available on the market, although that may cause a potential loss in safety, volume, and quality of the crop.<\/span><\/p>\n\t To solve this problem, last year the Verkhovna Rada registered the Draft Law No.2289<\/strong> which was fully supported by the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations and recommended for adoption as a basis and as a whole.<\/span><\/p>\n The European Business Association calls on the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to facilitate the adoption of this draft law, as food security is the foundation of national security and independence, and the competitiveness of the agricultural sector is the key to economic growth.
