The program is initiated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Participation in the GEIPP will provide benefits to the residents of the industrial park from the experience of leading companies and implementation of world practices in the areas of environmental friendliness, energy efficiency and sustainable development. This will result in companies\u2019 improvement of competitiveness and access to new markets as well as meeting of consumer needs of environmentally safe goods and services.<\/p>\n<p>Volodymyr Khmurych, CEO of Bila Tserkva Industrial Park, and Andrey Ropitskiy, CBDO of Bila Tserkva Industrial Park, attended the presentation of GEIPP launch in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The procedure of joining the Programme was painstaking, long-lasting and become possible with the active support of the professional team of GOLOCAL NGO. We would like to express our special gratitude to the UNIDO project team, Cesar Barahona and Anton Kleshchov&#8221;,<\/em> said <strong>Volodymyr Khmurych<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP) in Developing and Transition Countries is being implemented by UNIDO with funding from the Swiss Government. Currently, 6 countries (Vietnam, Egypt, Indonesia, Colombia, Peru and Ukraine) are participants of this Programme. The GEIPP will be implemented till 2024 leveraging the experience of the Global Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production Programme and synergistically interacting with UNIDO and other organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the GEIPP is to demonstrate the benefits of eco-industrial parks (EIPs) in terms of increasing resource productivity and improving the economic, environmental and social performance of enterprises, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development. Using tools developed globally, the GEIPP will focus on improving the productivity of natural resources (including energy, water and materials) and reducing the intensity of pollution from businesses. Indirect benefits will be improvement of competitiveness and access to new markets for companies, and meeting of consumer needs for environmentally friendly goods and services.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ip-bt.com\/\">Bila Tserkva Industrial Park<\/a> is the development of modern industrial production in Ukraine. The park offers industrial land with all engineering infrastructure and ready-made modern production, logistics and storage facilities for rent or purchase. Knowledge and extensive experience in real estate development allows the park team to provide the client with a range of services and services for efficient production arrangement.<\/p>\n<p>The total area of the Bila Tserkva Industrial Park is more than 70 hectares. Its key difference is focus on creating of ecosystem and clusters (production, logistics, and others). This approach enables clients to establish supply chains, reduce production lead time and costs. As of the beginning of 2020, six companies are residents of the industrial park.
