Updating [:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-248853 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Corona_digest.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Corona_digest.png 640w, https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Corona_digest-100x47.png 100w, https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Corona_digest-300x141.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Given the first recorded case of coronavirus in Ukraine, the European Business Association recalls the importance of following the recommendations of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/advice-for-public?fbclid=IwAR2fpKIE8KR5KodqNELkvHvkxgNuZmf0Sbva7DSE1ZM4nfLrsakACv5ML_o\">World Health Organization<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/moz.gov.ua\/article\/news\/rekomendacii-dlja-gromadjan-schodo-koronavirusu-2019-ncov?fbclid=IwAR2RF_nRvv9aETQXlxb3Urz10h_6jKs-VesjKoeiksTfR_3CoeGHMjvQjGM\">Ministry of Health of Ukraine<\/a> to reduce the risk of infection.<\/p>\n<p>It is known that the coronavirus is transmitted mainly by contact and droplet. Therefore, standard guidelines for the general public include some <strong>measures to prevent direct contact with the virus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash the hands with water or antiseptic for at least 20-30 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Do not touch eyes, nose, and mouth with dirty hands.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid close contact with ill people and keep a 1-meter distance.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid crowded places.<\/li>\n<li>Seek medical care if you have symptoms of respiratory disease.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also, the following should be mentioned separately <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/travel-advice?fbclid=IwAR0Xuinirj8cgbUyNwGwHE6Ii_3r81066_Xg9juEgtW6m0Lu4oU160I9JZw\">for travelers<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WHO states that it is not necessary to cancel scheduled trips. However, you should take into consideration the rules and restrictions imposed by individual states and airlines to reduce the spread of the epidemic. Therefore, you should be prepared in advance for the possible complication during the entry and exit procedures. We also recommend that you follow the news from the Health Ministries of the countries to which you plan to travel.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the general precautions on the board of the airplane and at the airport: wash your hands and avoid contact with ill people.<\/li>\n<li>Wear a mask if you have symptoms of acute respiratory illness to protect other people from the virus. However, a mask cannot help healthy people to prevent the risk of infection. Furthermore, you should wear a mask properly: it must cover the nose and mouth tightly and should be changed every four hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The European Business Association urges to keep calm and take the usual preventative measures such as having a balanced nutrition and proper sleep because health is the most valuable human resource!<\/p>\n<p><em>More information: <a href=\"http:\/\/covid19.com.ua\/\">http:\/\/covid19.com.ua\/<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>How can be the working process reorganized to minimize employee health risks?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shift to remote work, use digital channels of communication;<\/li>\n<li>Reduce the number or cancel business trips abroad, especially to countries with a higher risk of coronavirus infection (China, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Vietnam, Republic of Korea, Japan, Iran etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Allow workers who arrive after visiting high-risk countries to isolate for 14 days;<\/li>\n<li>Cancel or reschedule mass events with more than 20 participants;<\/li>\n<li>Give your employees the instructions on methods of preventing coronavirus, provide the office with disinfectants;<\/li>\n<li>Check the health of employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage companies to be responsible and not to risk the health of their employees and customers!<\/p>\n<p>European Business Association is in contact with the Government of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine and other state authorities to monitor the situation with the coronavirus spread, its possible influence on the corporate sector, as well as planned state actions and restrictions that may affect the business operation.
