By this transaction Raben will become the sole shareholder of the German company. The transaction will be finalized after the approval of the antitrust authorities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In recent years Raben Group has been dynamically investing on the German market, consistently implementing its long-term strategy of developing the own independent transport network. Owing to the agreement with Fenthol &amp; Sandtmann, the Group can meet customers\u2019 expectations more effectively by offering efficient transport network based on 34 branches in Germany. The company is focused on implementation of the latest IT solutions in the logistics sector, thanks to which it creates new development perspectives not only for itself, but above all for its customers.<\/p>\n<p>After this agreement, Raben Group will take over all locations of Fenthol &amp; Sandtmann i.e. Hamburg, Erlensee, Leipzig and Dresden as well as 460 employees.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe have been cooperating with Fenthol &amp; Sandtmann in 50% joint venture since 2011.\u201d <\/em><strong>\u2014<\/strong> explains <strong>Ewald Raben, CEO Raben Group<\/strong> <strong>\u2014<\/strong> <em>\u201cThis acquisition is an important milestone for Raben Trans European Germany and the great example that we have been consistently realizing our strategy of growth. The development of the own distribution network has indisputably opened new possibilities for our customers, not only on the German, but also on the European market.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fenthol &amp; Sandtmann<\/strong>, together with its subsidiaries i.e. FKL Kontraktlogistik and Kraftverkehr Ehrig, blends traditions of the trade with the modern 21<sup>st<\/sup> century logistics. The roots of the company\u2019s history date back around 190 years, which makes it one genuine logistics experts. In 2011 Raben Group has taken over 50% of shares in Fenthol &amp; Sandtmann.
