In early July, the Ministry of Justice finally filed an order of the Ministry of Health on hygienic standards and regulations for the safe use of plant protection products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It should be mentioned that for the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, that this year a number of hygienic standards and regulations concerning safe use of plant protection products were not approved in a timely manner. So, in fact, this situation prevented the possibility of state registration of drugs for plant protection.<\/p>\n

In this regard, during the spring sowing campaign, farmers did not receive timely access to advanced agrochemical technologies in order to improve quality and productivity and ensure the safety of crops.<\/p>\n\t

\n\t\t\t\tAccording to our information, on July 5, standards and regulations were registered, although they have not yet been published. This registration completes the state testing process and gives the opportunity to start the state registration of plant protection products. Thus, the official status has received norms for almost 750 products.\n\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n

In addition, a number of new generation products were approved for state registration<\/strong> so that before autumn sowing they can get to farmers.<\/p>\n

We hope that in the nearest future the Order will be published and this process will not be delayed for a few more months as an Order comes into force after its publication.<\/p>\n

The European Business Association is appreciative for unblocking the registration process. At the same time, business calls on the Government not to delay the process of approval of norms and regulations in the future.<\/p>\n
