A new stage of Youth Empowered Program has been launched in Ukraine. The purpose of the project is to support young people in career guidance and entering high schools, thus, creating a better future for themselves. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the Youth Empowered project covers 15 boarding schools<\/strong> in<\/strong> 9 <\/strong>regions<\/strong> of<\/strong> Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/strong> 1200 school graduates participate in the Program.<\/strong><\/p>\n Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine and Osvitoria have been implementing the project since 2015. \u00a0According to the results of previous academic year, 85% of graduates of 14 boarding schools, where the Program worked, entered high schools. The career guidance test “Magellano University” helped 65% of the students to choose a profession by vocation.<\/p>\n The Head of the Public Organization \u00abOsvitoria\u00bb Zoya Lytvyn said:\u00a0 \u00ab<\/em>We are very inspired by the results of pevious academic year.<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>They<\/em> show<\/em> the<\/em> strong desire<\/em> to<\/em> study<\/em> that<\/em> have students<\/em> in<\/em> boarding<\/em> schools<\/em>. <\/em>Because they often lack not cool gifts and sweets, but access <\/em>to high-quality<\/em> education and self-confidence<\/em>. Exactly<\/em> this<\/em> approach<\/em> is<\/em> adhered<\/em> to<\/em> by<\/em> our<\/em> project<\/em> “.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The grand opening of the new stage of the Program took place on the 24th<\/sup> of October in Mykolaiv – in the boarding school, which joined the project this year. Interim headmaster Valery Lysenko accented: \u00ab<\/em>I<\/em> dream<\/em> that<\/em> young<\/em> people<\/em> would<\/em> not<\/em> go<\/em> to<\/em> look<\/em> for a<\/em> job<\/em> in<\/em> other<\/em> countries<\/em>, <\/em>but<\/em> could<\/em> find<\/em> a<\/em> job<\/em> here<\/em>. <\/em>The most important for young people is to get high-quality education. <\/em>And together with Coca-Cola and Osvitoria, we will be able to help our graduates to enter high schools<\/em>\u00bb<\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n For the Program organizers have chosen those educational institutions where the most vulnerable and least protected youth studies. Among the 15 boarding schools that participate in the project, there are two sanatorium-schools in the Mykolayiv and Rivne regions, a social rehabilitation center in the Donetsk region, a special boarding school for children with low vision in the Vinnytsia region.<\/p>\n Organizers of the project actively support innovation and introduce gamification of studying since this year, which is one of the key trends in modern education. It will let further motivate graduates to participate in webinars and online courses, as well as to reward the most active participants. Also, within the framework of the project, educational institutions are provided with fully-equipped computer classes for online learning.<\/p>\n According to Andriy Bublyk, Public Affairs and Communications Manager of Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine, the expansion of youth empowered program will continue: \u00ab<\/em>Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine has committed to provide a better future for 25<\/em>,000 of <\/em>young Ukrainians by 2020.
