We are pleased to announce that GOLAW has successfully defended the interests of one of the largest Ukrainian alcoholic beverage manufacturers Galicia Distillery in a tax dispute regarding the recognition of the tax notification-decisions amounting to about $500 thousand as illegal and its subsequent abolition.<\/p>\n

The main reason for the penalties accrual was allegedly a violation of settlements timing by the manufacturer in course of its foreign economic activity. However, GOLAW attorneys managed to refute the illegal accusations of the fiscal authority and to prove that the implementation of the latest penalties’ calculations did not meet the requirements of the law and are ungrounded.<\/p>\n

The interests of Galicia Distillery were represented by Counsel, Head of Tax practice Iryna Kalnytska<\/a>, Counsel, Head of Dispute Resolution practice Kateryna Manoylenko<\/a> and Associate Kristina Kolchynska<\/a>.<\/p>\n
