
Project to help children of Ukraine from the "Kids of Ukraine" charitable foundation
At the beginning of the war, NGO «Kids of Ukraine» provide humanitarian aid and, in collaboration with the Dobry Brat Charity Foundation, organised a mental restoration day camp SviTY for internally displaced teenagers and military families. There are also permanent clubs in Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy. We are on the way to open clubs in: Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Ternopil, Zhytomyr.
This initiative was launched on the World Children’s Day. This is both a symbolic date and a sense that we invest in every day of our work.
Support and mental recovery programme created by qualified specialists helps children adapt to new realities. Psychological consultations and workshops, thematic trainings, English lessons, various activities, and many more events are held for children weekly. We do our best for the children to overcome fear, distract themselves from the war, and simultaneously discover themselves, gain confidence and new skills.
Our mission-Development and restoration of mental health of our young generation and Uncovering and multiplication of Ukrainians as a social investment into the future of Ukraine.
We are motivated by happy children and their parents. Step by step, we are expanding to create more opportunities for war children.
The most urgent project for today is raising funds to open a daytime rehabilitation club called SviTi in Kyiv. This is $10,000 per month. And holding the 3rd shift of the summer rehabilitation programme (2 shifts are already did), which takes place at the “White Elephant” campsite in the mountains of Ivano-Frankivsk region. The dates are 23-29 August. The programme is designed for 26 children and 4 adults. The budget is UAH 360 000.
