Ultrasound device for a consultative and diagnostic center

“Little Heroes” is one of the strategic projects of the UFamily humanitarian mission. This is help for children, which includes targeted support for sick children, as well as medical institutions that take care of little heroes. The purpose of the program is to support the most vulnerable families in a particularly difficult situation during the war.

UFamily helps medical facilities that care for little heroes. They fight for life every day, their front is in the hospital. We support them with diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.

The Platform for Helping Little Heroes is a consultative and diagnostic center in the Holosiiv district of Kyiv, home to a quarter of a million people, including almost 50,000 children. Every tenth child is registered at the Center.

For full-fledged diagnosis and treatment of children, the Center turned to UFamily with a request for a modern ultrasound device.

The equipment in the medical institution is 20 years old, and has already exhausted its service life. Because of this, the specialists of the Center – pediatricians, neurologists, cardiologists, gynecologists, urologists – are unable to provide appropriate assistance to children, and are forced to refer them to other institutions.

A modern ultrasound device will allow:
• to reduce the level of child morbidity;
• increase the level of disease prevention in children;
• provide free high-quality medical care to the population at the place of residence.
