Requirements:

• Knowledge of regulatory and legislative frameworks
• Knowledge of tax legislation
• Ability to work with large volumes of information
• Proficiency in 1C 8.2 UPP, M.E.DOC, Liga, Word, Excel, and the electronic tax office

Responsibiities:

• Accounting for several legal entities under the general taxation system (VAT payers)
• Control over the accurate reflection of business transactions in accounting records
• Monitoring the formation of income, expenses, and cost of goods sold, as well as posting of closing entries in accounting
• Monitoring accounts payable and receivable; discounting of long-term liabilities; creation of bad debt reserves
• Writing off accounts payable/receivable after the statute of limitations has expired; recording such transactions in accounting
• Organizing timely period-end closings (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually)
• Coordination and supervision of accountants and collaboration with the finance and legal departments of the companies
• Preparation of financial and statistical reports in accordance with national accounting standards
• Accounting and tax compliance for foreign economic activity (import, export of services, loans from non-residents); accounting for exchange rate differences on foreign currency transactions
• VAT accounting (taxable at 20%, 0%, exempt and non-taxable transactions), preparation of VAT returns, verification of VAT invoices, and their registration in the Unified Register of Tax Invoices (URTI)
• Preparation and submission of corporate income tax returns with appendices (quarterly)
• Preparation of documents for unblocking VAT invoices, handling tax audits, and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities
• Interaction with regulatory authorities (including participation in audits)
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Head of the Accounting Department
