  One of the most important strategic directions of export of domestic agricultural products is the global grain market. Any tendencies and trends of this market have a direct impact on the state of development of agricultural exports of Ukraine. We are happy to inform you, that Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food together with grain exporters signed the Memorandum of Understanding on 10 August. The total indicative volume of wheat exports is 16 million tons, including food wheat - 8 million tons, non-food wheat (fodder) – up to 8 million tons. The above mentioned volumes for export will be revised basis on the results wheat harvest. But no later than 28 September, 2018. This document is should help maintain the balance between domestic grain consumption and export opportunities. Indeed, stability and predictability are the priority for Ukraine and one of the main factors for national and food security. On the grain market, the signing of the Memorandum marks the start of a new marketing year. According to the preliminary results of 2017/2018, Ukraine exported 39.4 million tons of grain. Of these, wheat - 17.1 million tons. The largest buyers of Ukrainian grain in the first half of 2018 were the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe. The EBA would like to extend its gratitude to the Minagropolicy for the open dialogue and effecient cooperation with the leading grain market players of Ukraine.
