Dnipro Marketing & Communications

26/ 02/ 2019
  On Tuesday, February 26, the members of the EBA Marketing and Communications Committee in Dnipro met to discuss the popular topic of personal brand development. At the same time, at the meeting we did not stop at the personal brand but also covered the concept of the corporate brand and considered how to combine these two categories without depriving ourselves of individuality, remaining alive, not boring and at the same time productive. The invited speaker of the meeting was Nataliia Popova, Chair of the League of Marketing Communications. Ms. Nataliia provided the participants with interesting information, shared her personal insights of building a personal brand and encouraged participants to try themselves on self-presentation using special technique right at the end of the meeting. We thank all the participants for their active participation and good mood, the speaker for useful topics, and want to share some interesting tips from the meeting: the father of the “personal brand” concept is Tom Peters. If you are on the way of personal brand development read his book “The Brand You 50”; when you combine your corporate and personal brands, keep an eye on your personal life, as it can directly affect the brand of the company (for example look at the story of Amazon owner Jeff Bezos); if you build a personal brand master the public speaking! At the same time, your self-presentation should be different for different target audiences; don’t be afraid to be sincere; don’t be afraid to talk about your weaknesses. If you are able to convey emotions, you will hold the audience attention!

We thank all the participants for their active participation and good mood, the speaker for useful topics, and want to share some interesting tips from the meeting:

  • the father of the “personal brand” concept is Tom Peters. If you are on the way of personal brand development read his book “The Brand You 50”;
  • when you combine your corporate and personal brands, keep an eye on your personal life, as it can directly affect the brand of the company (for example look at the story of Amazon owner Jeff Bezos);
  • if you build a personal brand master the public speaking! At the same time, your self-presentation should be different for different target audiences;
  • don’t be afraid to be sincere; don’t be afraid to talk about your weaknesses. If you are able to convey emotions, you will hold the audience attention!
