CSR’s Project by «Luxoptica» and Pointer Agency received an Award by The Results of 2019
Corporate Social Responsibility Development Center in cooperation with «Ernst & Young» awarded companies for best practices implementation on corporate social responsibility in 2019 on annual conference «Business, that changed a country».
In a nominee «ensuring a healthy lifestyle and promoting the well-being of all ages» «Luxoptica» won with a project «Zdorovii zir». During 2019 this project was being implemented by a PointeR Agency.
In 2016 «Zdorovii zir» provided an opportunity to kids and adults to check their eyesight for free in Ukrainian schools and Luxoptica network. More than 1,500 students and 3,000 adults checked their eyesight. Next year the number of visitors increased up to 2,000 students and more than 4,000 adults, in 2018 up to 4,000 and 7,000 respectively .
«It would not be right to reduce the tempo in 2019. Thus, last year «Luxoptica» set a goal to organize sight checks in different Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa and reach at least 20,000 people», told Oleksandr Selin, CEO PointeR Agency.
The results exceeded expectations. From March to December more than 30 000 kids across Ukraine and more than 5 000 people at Kyiv shopping malls were checked in medical diagnostics cars. In addition, there were plenty of publications in press, internet and social media. All this together had a positive impact on «Luxoptica» and allowed to get the deserved award from CSR Development Center and «Ernst & Young».
