Smartphone, tablet, laptop, flash drive, etc. What unites all these devices? The presence of a chip in it, which is 90% likely to be made in Taiwan. Taiwan produces over 60% of the worlds microchips, including 90% of high-tech chips. However, in 2020, the world was hit by the global microchip crisis. In particular, manufacturers did not foresee the surge in demand caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
