EBA Meeting with the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine. Date: 27 January2022. Time: 14:00 15:30. Language: Ukrainian with translation into English. Place: online via Zoom. The cyberattack on Ukrainian government agencies, which took place on January 14, is not the first and, unfortunately, may not be the last one to come. A hybrid war has been waged against Ukraine since 2014, and massive cyberattacks are part of that warfare. Thus, the recent attack appears to be the most extensive one if we take the last 4 years. Meanwhile, it is impossible to predict who will be the next target of the attack and when it will take place. But it is still important as cybercriminals attack information systems to profit from users and companies every single day. Lately, the State Special Communications Service has managed to significantly increase the states cyber resilience, and over the past year, Ukraine has undergone the largest changes, which, among other things, will help protect Ukrainian business. On January 27, the European Business Association invites you to a meeting with the leadership of the State Special Communications Service to discuss the current cyber threats, the corporate cyber security issues, the way public-private interaction can be useful for cyber defense. AGENDA Cyber threats: what to prepare for? Cybersecurity for companies – how should it work and where to start? Human resources: how to find the right people? Public-private cooperation: how can it help business and what opportunities are there in Ukraine? Q&A For Media: Participation of media representatives is possible only after confirmed accreditation by e-mail [email protected] Link to the live stream will be provided after the registration. Please note that prior registration is required, and only registered participants will be informed of any possible schedule changes.   Speakers. Viktor Zhora.
