We all know the phrase “new is a well-forgotten old”. And in the Old New Year we propose to take a fresh look at the speech myths, that are as old as the world. Public speaking was born in Ancient Greece. All the myths we know were born there: about Hercules, about Icarus, and probably even about the public speaking. Even if the myths of Ancient Greece ought to be passed from generation to generation, myths about public speaking can be dispelled during the open lecture by Oleksandr Zayoma and Oleksandr Tomilin.
