If self-management is such a great idea, why aren’t more companies do it? The conventional answer is: managers are too habituated to the perks of power to simply let is go. But there’s another answer, and this answer is: self-organization in those companies is based on some intangible cultural things that are so hard to reproduce in other organizations.
EBA Management Development Centre Team together with Artem Serdyuk сompany invite you to join the Open Lecture: Self-Management Toolkit: Holacracy and Others. Indeed in the companies like Semco, Zappos, Favi, Morning Star self-management is baked in the culture, and the cultural norms are the most important thing that makes it all working together. But to replicate it into thousands and thousands of other companies we should extract its essence and put it into tangible set of instruments.
Speaker: Artem Serdyuk, Certified Holacracy Facilitator, Agile coach, helping companies become more agile for 10 years, now it goes to the next level, currently assisting more than 10 Ukrainian companies in their journeys to more self-managed and purposeful organizations (also known as Teal organizations)
