Webinar ‘German Export Credit Guarantees – Simplified procedures for Ukraine’. Date: 30 August2023. Time: 10:00 11:00. Language: English without translation. Place: via Zoom. Investments are strongly needed to rebuild Ukraine. Economic relations between Ukraine and Germany are very diverse, for example in trade, in agricultural products and in investments by German companies in Ukraine. Germany was among the leaders that proposed to secure direct investments through Investment Guarantees of the Federal Goverment. However, not so long ago the German Federal Government also made a decision on Export Credit Guarantees (also known as “Hermes Cover”) for Ukraine — to expand the coverage options offered by the German state. Therefore, on August 30, 10.00 CEST time the European Business Association together with Global Business for Ukraine invites companies to participate in the Webinar with Thomas Baum, Susanne Barthmann, Michael Geske from Euler Hermes and Mr. Schulze-Berge (Carl Geringhoff company) to study: What new opportunities arise for businesses in the program from the Federal Government. What is the process of application and who can apply. What limitations the program has (if any), etc. Moreover, during the Webinar we’ll be able to hear success stories of companies who already got coverage and their application experience.
