In the current business environment, how companies investigate potential misconduct can affect the company’s reputation almost as much as the alleged conduct itself.  As a rule, every internal investigation will have unique issues, circumstances, dimensions, challenges and outcomes. But such cases can cause serious harm to business if it is not conducted properly. Therefore, it is necessary to follow consistent, ethical principles and procedures when investigating allegations of misconduct.
