Online Workshop: “Psychology in Business – Balancing Company and Employee Responsibility”. Date: 24 April2025. Time: 11:00 12:30. Language: Ukrainian. Place: Zoom. “Why do we still not know what exactly counts as psychological support from the company, and what is a person’s individual responsibility for their emotional well-being?” Modern companies invest in employee well-being, yet often feel disappointed: teams burn out, communication breaks down, and initiative fades. At the same time, employees expect “care” from their employers, but struggle to recognize or meet their own needs. This creates a point of tension that calls for a rethinking of roles and boundaries. That’s why the Psychology and Well-being Hub of the European Business Association invites you to the online workshop Psychology in Business – Balancing Company and Employee Responsibility. During the workshop, you will: Clearly define what the company is responsible for and what lies within the employee’s responsibility in the context of psychological well-being. Receive tools to help develop emotional maturity in teams without adding extra “psychological burden” on HR. Learn how to minimize burnout without overloading managers with the role of a “rescuer.” Discuss real-life cases where companies’ good intentions resulted in exhaustion or conflict. Develop a clear understanding of boundaries that increase team efficiency, trust, and accountability. Outcomes: Reduce the risk of emotional burnout in your team. Improve the quality of managerial decisions in challenging situations. Learn how to analyze your company’s current activities and rethink how to integrate them into a coherent system of psychological support within your organization or department. Speaker: Vira Romanova – PhD in Psychology and founder of the psychological platform Method4U. Business consultant and strategist for Amazon, Slack, and Marvel. Moderators: Tetiana Sidliarenko – Coordinator of the EBA Psychology and Well-being Hub, practicing psychologist, organizational gestalt coach, founder of the Organizational Psychology division of the National Psychological Association, and Senior Membership Manager at EBA. Oksana Shpytal – Coordinator of the EBA Psychology and Well-being Hub, practicing psychologist, member of the British Psychological Society; intellectual property specialist at Cleveland Scott York, London.
