  EBA General Meeting with Yulia Svyrydenko, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine, and Olena Shuliak, the Chairperson of the Servant of the People Party. Thus, the NBU recently downgraded its economic growth forecast for Ukraine from 3.8% to 3.4%. The reasons behind this are both external and internal. So, how do the Government and the Mineconomy plan to ensure growth given the current situation?  This will be discussed with Yulia Svyrydenko, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, and Olena Shuliak, the Chairperson of the Servant of the People Party. The meeting will take place on February 7 at 15:00 via Zoom. As the Ministry of Economy has a crucial role in forming a favorable business climate, we will also talk about the problems of the business community and the possible solutions. Moreover, business is eager to know about specific plans of the state in the fight against the shadow economy and the viability of tax initiatives, namely, on reducing the payroll burden, abolishing the tax on deposits, tax insurance, other issues.
