Recently, there has been an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, and in the coming weeks, there is a high probability of the introduction of strict quarantine restrictions. This situation fuels concern among businesses as it is unclear what rules will be applied in case of the introduction of restrictions. On October 7, 14.00, the European Business Association will hold the event What to expect from a possible lockdown in Ukraine to discuss the Governments plans for restrictive measures to be implemented, as well as their potential consequences for business and citizens. We will talk about: inspections during quarantine and a possible moratorium on tax inspections; interaction with regulatory authorities during the quarantine period; rules for businesses that have direct contact with customers (for example, the rules for working in the red zone with customers who do not have a vaccination certificate, etc.), and businesses that have at least 60% of the area intended for trade in food, fuel, medicine, hygiene products, household chemicals, means of communication, veterinary drugs, feed, seeds, etc. the procedure for issuing special passes for urban passenger transport; possible options of state support during the quarantine period; some taxation issues (taxi, health insurance), etc. The event will be attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments.
