The Cybersecurity Subcommittee of the European Business Association invites you to a meeting to discuss current challenges and business expectations regarding public-private partnership (PPP) in the field of cybersecurity. The discussion will particularly focus on a project initiated by the Asters law firm to develop a legislative framework for the advancement of PPP in cybersecurity in Ukraine. The meeting is supported by the Aspen Institute Kyiv, which implements the Dialogue on Cybersecurity Program in partnership with the USAID Project - Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine and will feature representatives from the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection, the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. During the event, we will discuss: Current challenges and barriers to the effective implementation of cybersecurity tasks that can be addressed through public-private interaction. Expectations of private and public stakeholders regarding urgent tasks that can be implemented through PPP mechanisms in this sector. Expected outcomes of the discussion: Identifying the challenges of PPP in cybersecurity in Ukraine. Identifying urgent tasks that can be addressed through PPP mechanisms. Initiating the preparation of proposals for addressing these issues. In this project, public-private interaction (or PPI) (prospectively — partnership or PPP) refers to the pooling or coordination of resources (knowledge, skills, functions, personnel, material and non-material assets) from the public and private sectors to achieve common objectives in cybersecurity at the national, sectoral, or regional levels.You can send a question to:.
