Conquering Everest is a business simulation in which participants face many challenges that are very similar to workplace situations: lack of resources, aggressive deadlines, opportunities and obstacles, the need to make quick decisions, lack of time, feelings of anxiety etc. Using experiential learning methodology, we manage to change peoples attitudes and behaviors in one day instead of a few weeks of traditional training. The task of the game is to conquer the Everest’s peak and maximize the results of the expedition. It is a time-based mission that requires very detailed planning and accurate execution of tasks in an ever-changing environment, as well as maximum adaptability. When planning resources and facing extremely unpredictable weather conditions, participants must reach the peak of Everest, try to stay on the peak for as long as possible and return to base.
