Stop or essential decrease illegal import of coffee
2. Strengthening responsibility within the legislative framework for selling adulterated (counterfeit) coffee products

In order to fulfil this goal, we establish proactive and regular communication with the responsible departments of the State Fiscal Service and customs. It is anticipated to identify and prevent import of coffee on lower prices and attract the attention to corruption risks if such exist. We boost the cooperation with state officials and market experts for drafting amendments to current legislation targeted at stoppage of illegal practices.

Project experts analyze existing draft legislative initiatives directed to introduction of more strict penalties for certain actions. We prepare amendments to current legislative acts and proactively communicate with involved stakeholders (MPs, main Parliament’s committees, representatives of the Government) with the aim to ensure adoption of such changes.
